It has been another busy week at the Club with more members than ever joining our ranks. It is encouraging to receive so many applications and enquiires. I am very pleased to announce our membership levels have now surpassed any previous records and we stand at over 320.  Our previous best was 312. Considering our levels fell to 241 in April this is most encouraging for the future.

Our first East Lothian Winter League match draws near and I wish all our players well and hope they bring home a victory at Thorntree. No match will be easy but we have picked a strong team and hope they will be good enough on the day to bring back the points. I'm sure I speak for the whole Club in wishing them well.

The Anniversary Medal went well at the weekend and the winners will no doubt be pleased with the sweep pay out. We intend to hold a presentation evening on 15th November to celebrate and we hope as many members will attend as possible. There will be a Disco and buffet on the night. Polo shirts are still available but we have ran out of XL sizes. More are on order and we hope to have these soon. Club ties have also been reordered as these have been snapped up by our increasing membership. However, ballmarker/repairers are now in stock; price £4 to members, £5 to the general public. We are also ordering a supply of Glenmuir sweaters and these should be with us just in time for the colder winter months.

The Club is progressing very well at the moment and there is much to be excited about in the coming months. I will try to keep you updated as best I can on this page.
