Ruth celebrates a birdie putt
Ruth Carroll is the new East Lothian women's county champion.
She beat Jayne Smith (Gullane) by 4 and 3 in the final at Craigielaw Golf Club.
Ruth jumped into an early three-hole lead against Jayne and was able to maintain her position.
Ruth would like to thank those who have supported her. " I would like to thank my husband, Stuart and son,Liam for their support and understanding. Without them it would have been impossible. Also thanks go to all the members and juniors at M.O.C.G.C. who have encouraged and supported me over the last few years. But I must single out Jane Connachan without whom I could not have won this title."
