Longniddry proved too strong for MOCGC at the weekend running out easy 5-0 winners. The conditions were good and there can be little complaints about the result.

Perhaps it would be a little unfair not to mention most of the matches were keenly fought and only one of the five finished early. Scott Greig & Gary grigg lost on the 17th 2&1, Ally Hunter & C Abbot lost 3&1, Colin Whoriiskey & Steve Gray lost 2down at the 18th, Andrew Burnside & Robin McGregor lost 1 down and Peter rattray & Norman Horsburgh lost 6&5.

The league is a demanding format and if you don't sink your putts you will not win very many games. from the discussions which followed I think that seemed to be the case. Longniddry holed their chances while we as a team converted very few.

Their is much to ponder before we visit Kilspindie this Sunday. Hopefully our putting will improve and we can record our first victory.

On a brighter note our juniors won their match 2up and maintain their 100% record. Well done to Euan Glen and Matthew Craigie.
