Our Overseas membership camapign continues to grow momentum and I am very happy to welcome our newest members to "The Club at the world's oldest golf course".

It was a thrill and pleasure to welcome the Bourhill family to MOCGC on Sunday. A family from the US but with relatives from Musselburgh. They enjoyed playing the course with the 'hickory sticks' but found, after not too much persuasion, they preferred their own modern clubs. It goes to prove what incredible talents the golfers of old were as they used these antique instruments to negotiate tricky links golf courses in scores we today would still be proud of. It is a pleasure to welcome father, Bruce and his two sons, Scott and James as members of the Club. 

We must mention our latest members; Arthur Brown from Woburn and Robert Martin. Arthur is a friend of Alex Hay and is thrilled to have joined us at The Old Course. It was a pleasure to welcome you to our Club.  We are very pleased Robert Martin has decided to join us as well.  I'm sure Robert will be a very welcome addition to the club. 

I think with all the names appearing on this page and the continual updating we have to do it is quite clear something special is happening. Despite the doom and gloom we are constantly hearing about it is very exciting times we are entering into at M.O.C.G.C. and we are thrilled so many are wanting to share with us in our dream to bring back the glory days to Musselburgh.
